2010 and 11 have been very busy for Mrs. Collins, she presented "Engraving: Letterpress' Shy Sister" at the international typography conference, ATypeI in Dublin, Ireland and at the American Printing History Association Conference in Washington, DC, and "Curious Characters, Engraved Specimens at the Historic New Orleans Collection" at the TypeCon Conference, this year in New Orleans. Mrs. Collins also co-facilitated a chapter history and archiving workshop at the AIGA Leadership Retreat in Chattanooga and in 2009 presented the History of Graphic Design in South Louisiana (HGD-SL) project to the AIGA Leadership Retreat in Seattle.
Mrs. Collins continues to co-chair Fresh Fest, formerly known as New Orleans Green Salon a full day of presentations, music and information about sustainability and the creative communities of the Crescent City. Her article about it has been published in the Seattle Journal for Social Justice, click "article" in the second paragraph. Currently she is an instructor of graphic design at Delgado Community College in New Orleans.
