A hands-on workshop.
It’s not calligraphy or English composition. It is learning two distinct and compatible skills that may be new to attendees:
- The five-point punch list for writing successful personal correspondence.
- Enabling people to become comfortable with their own handwriting for the purpose of writing personal correspondence. This method of hand letter writing is unique to the presenter and not at all part of calligraphic canon.
This in-person class is usually two hours in duration at Gallier Historic House in New Orleans French Quarter. Occasionally there are live streaming online classes through The Call List app and these are shorter. Additionally, Mrs. Collins travels all over the United States giving this class, last year in Charleston, South Carolina and earlier in 2016 in Vevay, Indiana an historic town on the banks of the Ohio River mid-way between Cincinnati and Louisville.
